Registration for competition is $40 per competition category.

Entry:  The competition is open to any musical style and to all musicians regardless of race, color, sex, or religion. Any artist that is a judge, paid festival performer, or company employee is ineligible to compete. This is an Amateur Competition, no musician may compete who has a standing recording contract and plays full time professionally.

All competitors must submit a $20 non-refundable deposit for entry along with a demo tape or CD with 2 songs. All demos must be recieved by August 15. There will be 30 entries per division. Musicians must register by 9 am on the day of their competition, at which time we will draw a lottery for the order of performance. Each competitor will have 5 minutes to perform in front of 3 judges. Contestants may have one percussionist (congas , etc.) accompanying them (no drum kits allowed).

Scoring: Arrangement- Execution-Tuning-Spirit-Overall Impression ( Medley of tunes not acceptable). No score cards will be handed out.

Songwriting Competition Rules:
              1. No songs over 5 minutes long
              2. No profanity in songs.
              3. No references to race, religion or sex unless it's in a tasteful manner.
              4. No slanderous remarks about any organization or persons.
              5. No smoking while showcasing songs.
              6. Must be unpublished songwriter to participate.
              7. Must be sober while showcasing songs.
